On June 6, Transportes Fluviales Fray Bentos (TFF) inaugurated a new tugboat to optimize the transport of pulp from the UPM mill in Fray Bentos to Nueva Palmira.
With a USD 5 million investment and the presence of national authorities, this development reinforces the strategic role of pulp—the country’s main export product—and strengthens logistics efficiency on the Uruguay River.
