Membership to WWSA is a highly selective process. Applications are therefore thoroughly screened and members constantly evaluated on the basis of financial stability and performance. Membership is restricted to one member per country.

Membership Process
• Aspirant members will have to provide for inspection and scrutiny their annual accounts for the preceding year of their potential membership
• Aspirant members market position and reputation will come under scrutiny
• Once entered into the Association members will undergo annual checks of their financial position and performance
• With some exceptions, due to geographical size, only one member per country will be accepted by the Association, thus requiring total coverage of all relevant ports by any member in the country they represent
