SOMARAIN offering a wide variety of transportation options which are available ( air- road –waterways- railways )
to move customer’s freight from the port of entry (port Sudan, Khartoum) to the remotest corners of the Sudan interior
in good conditions well experience in handling heavy and over dimensions cargo.



4. WAREHOUSING / STORAGE:-

SOMARAIN outsource storage / warehousing sites in Khartoum both opened and covered areas are rented to accommodate our customers’ cargo.

We have our own storage in Port Sudan, 3000 m ² opened area with facilities to enable quick transfers of cargo to and from the port Sudan, and which can also be used for temporary storage for cargo in transit.

SOMARAIN also operates one base at Port Sudan with 1250 m² of storage space mostly opened as additional space and plan to cover almost 1000 m² in Port Sudan.

5. CUSTOMS CLEARANCE :--

SOMARAIN uses “in house” licensed custom brokers as licenses only given to individual as per Sudanese custom regulation and accordingly we offering best services to many of foreign companies working infrastructure projects or industrial development and new Sudanese companies investing heavily infrastructure or industrial project

SOMARAIN handle all custom clearance types for different cargo whether in temporary importation or permanent importation or shipments in transit or direct delivery.

6. SHIPMENT INSPECTION:-

All import cargoes have inspection certificate are needs specific declarations from customs, also should be tested and approved by (SSMO) Sudanese standards and metrology organization.

SOMARAIN coordinate with our sister company Geo Chem to perform comprehensive inspections services to our customers.
