Agência Maritima Euronave (Porto) Lda., was founded as a General Partnership in 1965 to operate in various areas of marine transport, freight forwarding, as well as all activities directly or indirectly related to the maritime industry.

The company centre of operations was established in Oporto, and subsequently opened their branch office in Lisbon and thereafter in Aveiro.

Its principal business activities were initially:

• Representative of tramping ship owners
• Shipping agent for ocean shipping companies
• Customs clearance agent
• Owner of ships

The company expanded its business within marine transport and subsequently extended its operations to include:

•  Bonded warehouses
•  Freight forwarding
•  Road transport
